there_were_none with her to keep her on her toes!
--Which translates to a young blond girl clinging to her, hanging off of her, balancing on her foot while Meiling does impossible stretches, or one whom she treats to a rousing game of "airplane" as she takes a break.
It's not that she means to show off, but today is just such a nice day! Won't you join her? ]

[ It's past dinner time, and Meiling is in the backyard as she normally is once the food's settled down. Her tai chi routine is long, and she seems to lose herself completely in it. Truth is, though she is supposed to use this time to clear her mind and center herself, ever since she arrived here she does nothing but think during these hours. Consider, brood, and ponder over why they were here, how they were going to survive the various events that transpired, and also how they might eventually get out.
Maybe this resistance group -- the one she heard about from the lady in the tank -- would be worth checking into... ]
